Richmond, Va. – The Family and Children’s Trust Fund of Virginia is proud to announce that Virginia has been designated the first State Section of the Association of Professionals Solving the Abuse of Children, marking a significant step forward in strengthening the Commonwealths’ response to child abuse and neglect.

APSAC is a national organization that brings together leading researchers and practitioners dedicated to preventing and addressing child maltreatment. FACT will assist with coordinating monthly member meetings, creating a consistent forum for learning, collaboration and application of research.

FACT’s support aligns with its mission to prevent child abuse and neglect by supporting programs, partnerships and policies that improve outcomes for children and families.
